For as long as I can remember I've dreamed of writing books! As a former elementary school teacher turned full-time mom, my dream became even more important. My first books were written to help my young son understand my husband’s job as a firefighter. I wanted a book that could explain the profession, however it did not exist so I created it.
I believe books are meant to bridge the gap and help children understand the world around them while also building confidence, creativity, and empowering them with knowledge.
These books are also a wonderful resource for any parent, caregiver, or teacher wanting to impart knowledge and understanding to children.
Mommies Make a Difference - And You Can Too!
Mommies Make a Difference is a tribute to mothers. Written in rhyme with vivid and colorful illustrations, the book depicts all that mothers do, what they carry, and all of their possibilities. It celebrates all that mothers are and showcases the many professions they have chosen. The book empowers children reading the story to reflect on their own being, what lights them up, and what they enjoy, as they imagine all that they can be too.
